Pierre Wille is a local folk artist who began welding as an apprentice to well-known Aspen artist Lou Wille (his father). Pierre scours the Western Slope for discarded farm implements, and has a unique ability to transform the discarded metal into great pieces of traditional folk art. His pieces, particularly birds, are known for their great personality.
