Robert Striffolino

The work of painter Robert Striffolino is best described as "lyrical expressionism". Feeling a strong emotional link with his landscapes, he attributes human characteristics to his landscape elements forming a balance bewteen the imagery and his emotions. Born in New York, and having a love of the Southwest, his landscapes portray everything form the lush autumn foliage of the northeast to the peaceful woods of the of the high desert plains.
