Merle and Leann Harding started making the "floating rock" sculptures in late 2008. The rock sculptures made their debut at the Loveland Art in the Park event in Loveland Colorado with overwhelmingly positive response. Together they scour the rock piles at local landscape material yards and other less accessible spots to find beautifully shaped and colored rocks that will be used to make these works of art for indoor or outdoor use. Husband and wife live on a hillside with lots of rocks and old pine trees where they enjoy creating art together.
