Jim Budish

Using the lost wax method, sculptor Jim Budish first sculpts his figures in clay and then casts them in bronze. "I try to create a smile through my sculpture by reaching into my subject, attempting to capture the "Joie De Vivre" that I believe is lurking somewhere inside all of us". The artist's minimalistic approach, using simple economy of line, captures the essence of his subjects spirit, emotion, attitude and personality. Many of Budish's works are available in multiple sizes, including life-size sculptures.
