Sandra Brue

Encouraged early to develop her artistic talent by her mom, Sandra Brue began carving sculptures out of ivory soap with a razor blade. Before she knew it, she was carving animals of all kinds. Why does Sandra now only carve dogs? Sandra is "...intrigued by the close bond that exists between man and dog. Throughout history, dogs have held a special place in culture, having certain jobs, and evolving as society did." Sandra owns a mastiff and knows the wonderful idiosyncrasies of most breeds, as there are few she has not sculpted.
