Michael Baum

The work of painter Michael Baum is a culmination of his life's experiences and artistic influences. Baum grew up in a small, midwestern town and most years his family would take driving vacations around the country. These early road trips were among his fondest memories. A combination of childhood travel memories and the influences of painter Edward Hopper and photographer Robert Frank resound in his work today.
