Canadian artist Jenny Allen, is a mixed media painter working with resin on wood panel. When she creates her abstracts she is looking to represent how beauty n nature is incredibly random. Painting on wood gives a natural textural element. She loosely interprets the landscape of lakes, hills, and forests in her abstracts. Her wildlife paintings have a similar looseness, veiling her animals with graphic shapes. Working from actual photos she strives to capture a sincerity in the faces.
